Where: Microsoft, 15030 NE 36th, Redmond, WA.

--------------------------------
Microsoft cares deeply about the experience customers have when interacting with its software, hardware and services.   To that end, the company has enthusiastically supported its User Research community with high-quality research labs.   Each year, User Experience professionals run roughly 20,000 participant sessions in these labs.   While the high-quality audio-video gear is consistent across labs, there are a number of different lab formats, each with a different study methodology in mind.   UPA members will have the opportunity to observe several of these different lab designs during informal tours of the new ‘Studio D’ building, located at the new Microsoft West Campus.

In addition to the usability lab tours and demonstrations there will be opportunities to network with other UPA members and Microsoft usability staff, including researchers and those concerned with participant recruiting challenges.

Space is limited, so sign up today!

UPA Puget Sound

We are an active chapter of the Usability Professionals Association (http://www.upassoc.org/), representing the greater Puget Sound area.

The UPA is a international, non-profit association (501(c)(6)), supporting professionals from a broad family of disciplines which structure and design the user experience in product development.

The goal of our UPA Chapter is to offer usability professionals with similar interests to meet and share their experiences. Local activities such as workshops, presentations and networking events can be conducted by local members for the greater benefit of the charter.

If you're interested in getting involved, or have general questions about Chapter activities or goals, feel free to E-mail us at UPA_PugetSound@yahoogroups.com
